Business of the Week: Think BIG Consulting

Company Details:

  1. Company Name: Think BIG Consulting
  2. Location: Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, USA & London, United Kingdom
  3. What does your company do? Think BIG Consulting is a creative consultancy firm specializing in project management, social media strategy, and event planning for nonprofit organizations. Although we specialize in nonprofit clients, we also serve socially responsible for-profit entities.

The Story:

  1. How did your company start and how did it grow? I was working in the nonprofit sector in Phoenix when my husband was offered a fellowship at a university in London. We packed up and moved on short notice and I hadn’t a clue what I would do for work in the UK. I started doing contract projects for nonprofits from abroad and realized I had a knack for helping nonprofits develop marketing strategies, design programs and manage their day-to-day operations, and that I could do it from anywhere – and thus, Think BIG Consulting was born. Now, two years later, Think BIG Consulting is based in both Phoenix and London and we have brought on additional consultants to serve clients throughout the US and UK.
  2. How did you do things before PayPanther and how has PayPanther helped today? I’m ashamed to admit it, but prior to using PayPanther I was tracking everything in Excel spreadsheets! Now that my business is growing rapidly, I knew it was time to professionalize and systemize my operations. PayPanther helps keep my business organized and running smoothly.
  3. What is your favorite thing about PayPanther? What I love about PayPanther is that it tracks clients, projects and tasks as well as expenses, invoices, and timesheets. It’s helpful for me to have it all in one place.
  4. What is one piece of advice you would offer other business owners in your industry? Quick-turnaround and responsiveness are two things that my clients value. I would recommend anyone in this field remember to always remain communicative with clients, even when things get busy.
